The
Glamour Girls patrol worked on a
badge called "creative
cooking" Some of the
things we did to complete this
badge is make a meal, and keep a
daily journal of what we ate for a
week.
To
make a meal for our troop we had
to go grocery shopping, to get the
ingredients for the meal. On
the night we made the meal we
started getting ready early, and
then cooked. Our completed meal
included spaghetti, garlic bread,
salad, and pudding.
We
had to keep a daily journal of
what we ate for a week too. I
think most of us learned we eat a
lot more then expected.
In
the end I learned a lot more about
cooking, and how fun it can be.

Kids meal for the Creative Cooking
Interest badge
It took
our group a long time to plan the
meal. It took about two
hours to plan what we were going
to eat and make. We thought
it first was going to be Mexican
but we changed it. On
Saturday we when to a store and
bought everything we needed.
It took about an hour. Then
on Monday we went to a girls house
and prepared everything.
What we needed to be made on the
day that we served it. We
planed a drawkcad rennid or
backward dinner. We served
the deserts first and then the
drinks then the green beans and
rolls then the main course.
