Camping has always been a Girl Scout tradition.  Our troop usually goes camping every year in the spring or summer.  We do a lot to get ready for trips too. Shopping, cooking, getting tents ready, and packing. We sleep in tents every time we camp, and we make our own food.  We use a system where we are split into groups, and take turns doing camping "chores" such as doing anything that has to do with a camp fire, a cooking group, a cleanup group, and so on.  We have such a great time when our troop is camping!  We do lots of games and songs around the campfire.  Even if its a rainy day, we have fun just in each others company.
