Our camporee took place at a local state park. We worked with both brownie and junior Girl Scout troops. We taught them how to build a campfire and set up a tent. We also played games, made tye dye t-shirts, set up a treasure hunt trail, showed them how to cook in a dutch oven, and sang songs. In doing these, we taught them safety tips while they were at the campsite.

The most exciting part was the Treasure Trial. This taught them the skills of following directions.
