On Tuesday, June 12, 2001 our Girl
Scout troop went to the popular restaurant Texas Roadhouse to get a behind
the scenes look at the restaurant life.
We took a personalized tour through
the restaurant. We went
through the kitchen, refrigerator, freezer, dishwashing, preparation, dry
foods, and meat sections. It
was interesting actually seeing the workers doing their work and how much
effort it actually takes to prepare a single plate of food.
We also learned that barely any of their food comes packaged.
After the tour, we enjoyed a donated
meal by the restaurant.
